
Teacher Naturalist Training 2025

Join our staff of teacher naturalists and share in the fun and satisfaction of teaching at Honey Hollow. Training is available to adults interested in working with school children and who are interested in preserving our environment, enthusiastic, able to work with children of all ages and abilities, flexible, and willing to learn new lessons. Participants should be able to work during the week, walk reasonable distances over uneven ground while carrying moderate amounts of weight, and be willing to be outdoors during all types of weather.
Participants will be introduced to techniques for sharing the wonders of the environment with groups of students who visit the Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center as well as trained in specific lesson plans. Upon completion, participants are asked to teach at least 30 hours during the next 10 months.
Registration cut-off date is April 3. Training is limited to 12 students.
