Visitor Center

We are open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm.

• Live Animals: Get up close to turtles, lizards, and more—an exciting experience for kids and adults alike! Visit in the afternoon, and you might catch a glimpse of our animal care routine or snack time.

• Touch Tables: Explore the natural world hands-on with skulls, shells, eggs, and other fascinating artifacts that showcase the wildlife of our region.

• Library:  Browse our reference and children’s libraries in the cozy loft space.

• History and Architecture: See our displays and learn about our area’s rich past and the center’s unique architecture.
