Our Visitor Center
Learn in our Visitor Center. The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.
- Discover nature indoors with a visit with our Live Animals. Turtles, lizards and more will fascinate children of all ages. If you stop by in the afternoon, you may even get a chance to see some of the animals being cared for or getting a snack.
- Monthly Artist Displays. From jewelry to photography to sculptures, local artists can display their nature inspired artwork. Each month a new local artist is on display. Interested in displaying your work? Contact Joan Stelmach at jstelmach@bcas.org.
- Skulls, shells, eggs and many other natural artifacts can be found at the Touch Tables. Perfect for children (and adults too) to learn more about the local wildlife of the region.
- Check out the Reference and Children’s Libraries in the loft!
