What is a Photo Petition?

Photo petitions are a great way to make your voice heard on the environmental issues you care about! Photo petitions can be posted on social media to raise awareness for certain issues and are more personal than just signatures because they showcase the actual faces of concerned constituents like you!

How To Make A Photo Petition:

• Create a sign to hold in your photo – Make a sign expressing your support for climate action or renewable energy.
• Take a selfie or have someone take a photo of you and your sign – Do you have any props to include (sign, favorite eco-tshirt, electric car, solar panels, favorite nature spot)?
• Share it! Post on social media – Share on facebook and instagram using #BucksAudubon, #ActOnClimate, (and if your furry/scaly friend is in the pic), #PetsForClimateAction
• Email it to BucksAudubon or PennEnvironment – Email your picture to Marissa, mjacobs@bcas.org, or Amanda Lapham, amanda@pennenvironment.org so they can compile all of the petitions to be sent to legislators! You must also fill out this quick and easy photo release form so they have permission to share.
