Adult Environmental Education
Bird Walks & Trips
Bird Walks are held at 8:00 am the first and third Saturday of the month year-round. Occasional field trips are held and will be on our events calendar, sent to our email subscribers, and posted on social media.
Our walks take a short break in August while we wait for birds to prepare for winter.
Teacher Naturalist Training
Share your love of the environment with the future generation of naturalists! Each spring field trip season, we look for creative adults who are passionate about ecology and informal education, to serve as Teacher Naturalists to assist the BCAS staff in environmental education programs. A training course is provided to all potential naturalists. Contact Diane Smith, Director of Education at dianesmith@bcas.org for more information.
